 Here is what students in K-4th grade will be learning with the k12 curriculum. Follow the link below and choose your student's grade level and course. Then click on the blue rectangle that says "get the scope and sequence for this course". From there you can see a course's outline, overview, number of lessons and scheduling, and the materials each course uses.

Provo School District teachers have also created a list of priority learning standards, or "essentials," for students in our district.  These particular standards/objectives/indicators are ones that we define as critical for student learning. In fact, they are so critical that students will receive intervention if they
are not learned. Priorities are chosen because they 1. have endurance, 2. have
leverage, and 3. are important for future learning. 

So if you've wondered, "What does my child really need mastered by the end of this year?" This is it:

Language Arts Essentials
Math Essentials
